SG Pump Range
Surecast have been supplying the SG range of pumps since 1995, renamed from the MSK previously supplied by JBW, Bevi-Wright and Myson pumps, the vertically mounted in-line branch single stage centrifugal pump has been used extensively in the heating and ventilating industry. Designed primarily for clean water (chilled to 12˚C) supply, the product has been utilized to accelerate low viscose non-aggressive fluids where space is of a premium.
General description
Wetted parts are normally produced in cast iron with bronze impeller or all bronze alternatives – stainless steel versions have also been produced to fulfil special requirements. The pumps have in-line flanged connections and can be mounted directly into a pipeline, therefore eliminating the need for floor mounting (space saving).
The enclosed impeller has double curved vanes, designed to work in the spiral volute of main casing. This gives a highly efficient combination, which also allows the passage of small solids. Drivers are normally single or three phase, electrically powered, with many variations of supply, enclosure & protection options available – air, petrol and diesel drive are also possible.
Range detail
SG pumps come in seven single and three twin head versions, these being:
- SG50, 65, 80, 100, 125, 150 & 200mm nominal bore single head units, and
- SG65D, 80D & 100D nominal bore twin head versions.
RB Pump Range
Surecast have been supplying the RB pump since 1995. Previously supplied by JBW, Bevi-Wright and Myson pumps, the vertically mounted in-line branch single stage centrifugal pump has been used extensively in water heating and cooling, for diesel engines, compressors and secondary hot water supplies. Marine and land based installations for both 50Hz, 60Hz and variable speed operation are satisfied by this product. Designed primarily for clean water (chilled to 12˚C) supply, the product has been utilized to accelerate low viscose non-aggressive fluids where space is of a premium.

NC Pump Range
Previously supplied under the trade name & still known as the Modern Pump, the pump designated ‘NC’ is currently a single sized 2” pump of single stage centrifugal type used primarily for rinse water reclamation on laundry washing machines – designed to run continuously working with ‘snore’ conditions.
General description
The twin bladed semi-open impeller will handle high quantities of lint, fibre and solids up to 25mm diameter. Normally produced in cast iron, the same unit has been constructed in stainless steel with a hard faced shaft seal to handle corrosive/abrasive products associated with the tanning and chemical industries.
